Hello! I found your blog surfing for "seasonal delights". Having been raised in the Air Force, I truly enjoy reading what you write. Military life imprinted many positive things in my young life, like:

1) People are much the same no matter where in the world one goes.
2) We all share the same basic heart-cries no matter what language we speak.
3) Yes, I'm beginning to think God has 'favorite versions' of people (How can two people look so very much alike though separated by thousands of miles? And how many of them are there?)
4) One MUST change one's environment on a regular basis (to keep from getting bored?)

When I grew up, I actually landed in one spot for the first time in my life, raised (and homeschooled) four beautiful daughters. Funny thing is, I kept "moving": regular furniture re-arranging, new decorations, old favorite stuff in new spots, and the fact that everyone got a different bedroom once every few years--because it was simply time to change things up! Then it dawned on me: I was recreating my Comfort Zone for my own children :o)

Blessings to you and your loved ones as you create your own "comfort zones".<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('536','comfymumfy'); return false;">Reply</a> - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('536','comfymumfy','Hello!
Lorri,
This is one of the funniest posts I have read. I will never look at the words "monsoon" "typhoon" or "mac an cheese" in the same way again. Yip! Yip! Phone! Yip! Yip! Flood! LOL!
