About Me
So this is the page where I’m supposed to write something wildly funny and deeply insightful about myself.
For once, I am speechless.
I’m a homeschooling mom, lover of all things crafty (except plastic canvas, it just screams “grandma” to me) and wife of a US Army officer. We’ve lived all around the US and overseas, picking up friends, collecting recipes and trying to keep a sense of humor when everything around us is going down the drain.
I was born and raised in California, I don’t surf, I no longer say “like” like every 2 seconds (except for like, just now) but I still like to go barefoot.
I broke my leg while skiing when I was 13.
I was once going to be a journalist until all the “Introduction to Journalism” and “History of Journalism” classes literally put me to sleep. Meanwhile, I sailed through the required speech class, so I switched majors and ended up with a degree in Speech Communications. Either way, I have a lot of words floating around my head.
And so a blog was born.
