  • That scarf looks almost painterly in some places, or maybe like it’s been colored in with pastels. It’s lovely either way. It’s funny that you found this to be mindless knitting – I actually have to focus on mine. I find my beaded 4-ply cotton cardigan to require less attention. Still – I’m 3/4 of the way there as of tonight!

  • That may be the most beautiful scarf I’ve ever seen. I love it! When I grow up, I want to be a good knitter, just like you. 🙂

  • Hi! My name is Nina and I’m a homeschooler from the Philippines.

Just wanted to say I stumbled onto your article in The Homeschool Classroom entitled “Preschool Drop-Out?” and loved it!

So much of what you shared reminded me of our own painful experience with enrolling our son in toddler class when he was 3 and then diving into homeschooling after that.

Thanks so much for sharing it. It really means a lot to know that I’m not alone. =)

    *hugs*
    Nina

  • What a beautiful scarf! Did you make it with our Rebecca in mind? When you are feeling sad, you can take it out and wrap it around you and think beautiful thoughts of love and joy. On a lighter note…now you have a great solution to the “Scarf Debate” (Oct. ’08).
    Luv you 🙂
